This Berliner Weiss style beer was soured with lactobacillus before it was fermented to give it slightly tart flavor. The weiss style grain bill we used gives this beer a flavor that is more like bread then malt. Blueberries were added to create a beer that is almost purple in color and opaque. It tastes lighter than it looks!
Our duck butt doppelbock is a lager beer with mid hops, deep malty flavors, and hints of dried fruit. It has a dark and earthy color, like the butts of the ducks that find tasty treats at the bottom of the river just off our patio. Pair this beer with beef, pork and baked French onion soup. It may also pair well with duck, but we have yet to convince the river ducks to let us try.
***OKTOBERFEST STYLE BEER***
This is our version of an Oktoberfest lager. It’s made with a hefty amount of Munich malt and a blend of hops to give it a malt forward flavor with a slightly hoppy finish. We like to drink this beer around this time of year. Its Amber color and bready smell helps welcome all the things we love about fall. Raise a glass and give an Ein Prosit!
This pale ale style beer is made using only cascade hops that we add the at 4 different points during brewing. This helps highlight both the bitterness and aromas of this amazing hop.
Cancer sucks! When someone you know has been affected by cancer you want to help and that’s what this beer is here to do. It was created to raise money to help a boy who has had this unfortunate experience. We hope you enjoy this APA. It was made using a blend of American hops that were chosen for their bold aromatics and fruity qualities. All proceeds from this beer will be donated to the family.
These are our classic house beers. Like an old friend, they welcome you in no matter how long you have been gone. Times may change but these beers will be here to greet you next time you stop by.
Say hello to our house ale! A tribute to malt with a smooth hop balance. A great session ale with a slight caramel character.
A smooth German style ale with an easy malt body and light hop presence.
Our German style wheat bier. A cloudy ale with hints of clover, coriander and slight banana esters.
Our brew team picks fruit to mix with a keg of our Weiss Bier to create our Bent River Fruit Weiss. Ask what this week's creation is!
A traditional Irish stout as dry and roasty as Old Man Smitty himself. The upfront flavor of this beer is followed by a clean and smooth finish.
An American style cream ale named after mug club member number 001. A light bodied brew with a malty body and a hint of cream on the finish.
